What is Aura?

Hi everybody, as we speak about healing, I thought it might be good to share some basic information on what aura actually is....

AURAS

An aura is a protective electromagnetic energy field that is created by thoughts and surrounds the physical body. It is composed of matter vibrating at speeds that are just above the velocity of light, which make it invisible to our everyday senses.

• Strong positive loving thoughts give a strong protective aura.

• Wishy-washy thoughts give a weak aura that does not protect us
from the actions of others. .

• Negative thoughts make holes in our aura and depression and
shock greatly reduce the size of our aura and makes us very
vulnerable.

When your aura is strong, you radiate life force and beauty. It protects you from the thoughts and emotions of others which bounce off it like water off a duck’s back. An aura is the first defence against viruses and psychic attack.

When healing somebody, sensing and scanning the energy in the person’s aura can be a helpful indication of their health. A change in energy i.e. heat, cold, tingling, sticky or other sensations may indicate that that part of the body is ‘ill’ in some way.

Every time you work  with the Angels or perform spiritual practices, your aura becomes stronger and so more protective. It then becomes a warm comforting cloak that will automatically soothe and uplift people that you meet. When you are an Angelic healer, your aura will reach out and enfold
people in need, who will feel safe in your presence. The Angels will use you to touch and help them, without depleting you in any way.
Auras are made up of several layers, each layer vibrating at a slightly different speed and they are different colours.

The main layers are : -

• The etheric layer extends about 5 cms from the physical body and is the bright layer around the body that most people can see. All disease can be felt in the etheric body before it manifests in the
physical body.

• The astral or emotional layer extends about 13 cms beyond the physical body. This is where we hold our emotions and changes in the energy of this layer indicate blocked emotions.

• The mental layer extends about 20 cms from the physical body and the Angels use healers as a channel to break up crystallised thought forms and mind sets, which no longer serve the person we
are working on. Angels can also soothe troubled thoughts.

• The spiritual layer extends about 46-60 cms from the physical body, but can extend much further in very spiritual people. It is created by spiritual practice and understanding and is the most
beautiful layer of the aura.

Feeling and Stroking Auras
You can feel another person’s or your own aura by rubbing your hands together and then putting them in the aura and notice the subtle sensations. This is usually tingling, but can be a feeling of heat or cold or resistance. A beautiful calming effect can be had when your aura is stroked down from head to toe. Conversely when it is ‘fluffed up' the other way (from toe to head) it is then energised, which is a bit like animal fur being stroked the wrong way, but can be ungrounding.
